User guide
The map
The front page is a live map. Stations appear and move without reloading the page. Clicking an icon opens a balloon: time of the last packet, speed, course, altitude, comment and packet path; links “center”, “zoom”, “info” and “track”.
- Track callsign — up to 20 comma separated callsigns, wildcards like UN7*. The map shows tracks and follows the stations. “Clear” leaves tracking mode.
- Address, city or locator — find a place or a QTH locator (MN83kg).
- Show last — how far back to show stations; Track tail length — length of the track tail.
- Right-click on the map — menu: center here, add a marker, “Upload my position”.
The button bar on the right
- ☰ — collapse the panel; ⌂ — default view; ◎ — my location; ⟳ — live updates on/off.
- ★ — favorites: map views and sets of stations; also “Make the default view”.
- ⛛ — filter lists: which stations to show (all, classes, moving faster than 2 km/h, weather stations, digipeaters, iGates). You can keep several lists.
- Map layers and the ruler — distance and bearing between two points.
Settings
“Settings” under “Other views”: track lines, coordinate format and units, time zone, language, track colours, station classes and labels (“Details”), a beep on packets of tracked stations (“Sound”). Guests keep settings in the browser, registered users in their account.
